Die Ausländer sprechen gut Deutsch (2) – Plural

Grammatik: Plural

The third person plural (sie sprechen) has the same form as the infinitive.

When using the plural of nouns, the article changes to die, no matter which gender the words have. Easy, right? You can leave out the article for general statements, just like in English (Männer müssen stark sein). Plural forms of nouns are a little irregular in German. The most common endings are -en and -er. Don’t worry, after a while, you’ll develop a feeling of how to build the right form.
